Isaac and Jamie know they should wait for Sam before playing Power Fusion again. But one secret game can't hurt—until Isaac wins Animal Talking and Sam discovers they played without her.

With twelve hours of animal conversations ahead of him, Isaac expects plenty of fun. Instead, a cranky cat, a very slow snail and a family of protective magpies teach him that understanding animals isn't the same as knowing how to help them. Then Charlie the cockatoo arrives with an urgent message, and Isaac realises the day's Challenge cards may be more connected than anyone imagined.
