Aspects of Verbal Behavior: Files From The Pacific Language Institute

The dissertation will examine the research done at The Pacific Language Institute that was located in Cupertino, California U.S.A. from 1992 through 2004. The company moved to the Central Valley of Northern California U.S.A. in 2004. The dissertation will examine four papers from the archives of The Pacific Language Institute and research current literature of each of the paper's subject matter and update the scholarly research done on each topic upto 2006. A business model of the company will examine the merits of operating a small research and development company within the high technology environment of the Bay Area, also known as Silicon Valley. The company paper's focus on ESL, English as a Second Language and Second Language Acquisition, SLA, aspects of phonology. Extensive current references and an appendix section is included in the work.
