Dr. Joseph Murphy (20th May 1898 - 16th Dec 1981), the author of the book grew up in a devout religious home. His father, Denis Murphy, was a deacon and professor at the National School of Ireland. The major focus of Dr. Murphy was to explain things lucidly so that it would explain how it affects any individual. His basic theme was that the solution to all the problems lies within oneself. We are not affected by the outside circumstances rather by our own mindset. He wrote more than 30 books. His best seller is "The Power of your Unconscious Mind".
