Exciting and well crafted, Beyond The Pines tells the story of Jake Cleary who fled from his hometown of Pine Grove, Vermont, to New York City in a desperate attempt to find peace. His respite is quickly replaced by trouble when he unwittingly becomes entangled in a mafia crew fixated on moving up in the world of organized crime. False backgrounds, surprising alliances, and perilous pursuits all threaten Jake and his new love.
