Black Sea Cruising

This book is about cruising and exploration. Cruising allows you to witness various sights and gain many new experiences within a short period of time. I often wondered how many memories and how much knowledge one could bring back from trips of usually short duration. For instance, we spent only ten hours in Istanbul, but in this time we visited the most important and impressive monuments, those I have only read about before and had visions of in my mind. Such a visit might inspire you to fall in love with Istanbul and in the future you could return for a longer stay, and more in depth exploration.


Some people think cruising is a luxury. Some think it could be quite tedious. While we prepare for another cruise, people ask “What on earth will you do for so many days on board a ship? Won’t you be bored? How will you stand it? What about waves and seasickness? Aren’t you afraid?”
