Unbearably awful
I loved Samantha’s previous books but this doesn’t even feel like it was written by her. An absolute mess. Both plot wise and writing style, grammar errors everywhere. The story is awful, both bleak but yet happy ever after at the same time. Most random collection of events, none of which make sense. The main character is offensively awful, and prejudiced and yet we are supposed to get behind him. One of the worst books I’ve ever read. A book that talks about lies and then ends with more lies? Makes no sense and I hate that I read it
