Breaking Free

Circé (pronounced seer-say) is how Joelle Circé Laramée prefers to be addressed regarding her art. She is a queer feminist, an atheist, and a woman of transexual origin. Breaking Free, 45 years in the wrong body, is more than a memoir. It is a window to the artist's soul, with many raw and honest stories describing her journey towards womanhood. Circé has written a marvellous memoir, sharing her many life experiences all while in the wrong body for the first forty-five years of her existence.
