Change is a Bitch is an intimate portrayal of a woman fighting to manage the internal and temporal uncertainty that change has forced upon her. She's torn, obsessed, confused and fearful.

"I feel like, sometimes, that I'm two people. It's a bitch."

Worse, she's been haunted by an escalating and paralyzing regret, along with an acute revulsion to confront it.

Now, forty-four years old, married to a successful business executive and the mother of adult twins, the urgency to find the truths that govern her life cannot be ignored.

But events beyond her control and short-term obsessions conspire against her. She drifts in the void between her current malaise and the uncertainty of the unknown. 

Unless she finds answers, she will, she knows, self-destruct.
