Charles Denton Watson was the pride of Copeville, Texas at one point. Nobody ever suspected that he would become "Tex" Watson, the "lieutenant for killing" in Charles Manson's horrifying "family." It had to come as quite a shock to all who knew him in that small north Texas community. It certainly shocked the world.
