The lack of flash to his game and personality cause many people to overlook Chris Mullin, until you look at his career. A 20 pp. scorer in college — he averaged 17 as a freshman at St. John’s, Mullin was a five-time All Star who led the NBA in minutes twice and averaged over 25 points per game for five consecutive seasons. Mullin finished in the NBA’s top 10 in free throw percentage, field goals made, minutes and True Shooting percentage at least 4 times each. He was also one of the 11 Hall Of Fame players on the 1992 U.S. Olympics Dream Team.
As a member of the Golden State Warriors’ famed Run TMC with Time Hardaway and Mitch Richmond, Mullin was a lights-put scorer who did more than just make jumpshots: Chris could put the ball on the floor and create his own shots of the dribble.
