Chronicle Seven

This is the seventh installment of the D. B. Clark Chronicles, the thoughts expressed in poetry of a brief period in the life of the poet. The emphasis in this volume continues to be light verse, which is the poet's joy, but also celebrates his realization that he is addicted to metaphysical poetry, but particularly his own brand of humorous metaphysical poetry. So, join him in laughing about what could be overly serious. What is newest in the chronicle is the author's new fascination with ancient history, and his renewed obsession with understanding the nature of poetry. I hope that my obsessions aren't a nuisance for you; they are fun for me.
