Closer

She had always dreamed of flying, like the kite she flew when she was a child. With the birds at her side is her dream finally getting closer?

Closer is a short story experiment in writing. In 1999 The Matrix was released and the world was cinematically introduced to "Bullet time", a method of filming where you can stop an object and rotate a camera around it, almost freezing it in time.
In "Closer" I attempt to duplicate this, by using a scenario and freezing it in time by focusing on different events, and on the subject's environment, effectively stretching the moment as long as possible.
