Clouded Judgement

Sondra didn't think her final year in college could get any worse. Her cozy, cheap college apartment turned out to be located right in the middle of a drug dealer's territory. If that wasn't bad enough, the one man she'd been attracted to in a long time was involved in whatever illegal activities were going on there.

Jake was stunned to learn the target of his investigation was Sondra, a sweet and smart college student. As much as he wanted to believe she wasn't involved, the more the evidence pointed her way. He knew he shouldn't let his heart cloud his judgement, especially since one mistake on his part would put both of their lives at jeopardy.

He knew getting into a relationship was not a smart idea. Actually, it was probably one of the stupidest things he'd done in a long time, but there was a point when it seemed like he would rather stop breathing than go without feeling her next to him. He could reason away the first time. But then once they moved to the bedroom, that was all greed on his part. He wanted to touch her again. He needed to feel a connection to the one person who wanted to connect with him on a different level too.
