Concord: Founders

The Milky Way galaxy was once torn by constant war and strife, as vicious aliens competed to expand without limit. In this perilous environment, anyone that just wanted to be left alone quickly fell prey to Killers that consumed everything in their path.

But seven billion years ago, an exceptional humanoid Tribe called the Franch arose on the outskirts of the galaxy, and because of their isolation had time to develop extremely advanced technology. Like all other races, they were limited by the speed of light. They knew how to go faster but they could not do it themselves—but then they met the Pilots, who could.

Together, the Franch and Pilots founded Concord to bring peace to the galaxy. After two hundred million years of struggle Concord pacified the entire galaxy and enlisted dozens of other Tribes into the federation. Then, after several mergers with dwarf galaxies, the Franch allowed themselves to go extinct. Or so everyone thought. Billions of years later, Concord invited Humans to join their federation, and a new era of Concord history began.

These stories tell the history of the Franch, the Founders of Concord, from their pre-spaceflight days to their withdrawal from (and eventual return to) the galaxy they loved. The struggles, triumphs, and genius of the Franch are revealed in 12 exciting tales that span billions of years.
