Damaged Goods

I have led a long hard life as a result of childhood sexual abuse and have suffered many consequences. I relived my life in the words of this book. When a person abuses a young child they literally kill the child as they are no longer, nor will they ever be a child again. They are suddenly thrust into an adult world which they are NOT prepared to handle in the least. Abuse leaves you with no ability to make good or rational decisions for yourself so inevitably you make all bad decisions and suffer and suffer and suffer the consequences of those decisions through no fault of your own. It is horribly tragic and you become even angerier when you think that it could have all been avoided if you had just been left alone. Child abuse comes with so many life-long ramifications and I cover many of them in the book.
