A girl has turned up! Well, a young woman actually. She is recovering from a major operation. As such Rose is a quite serious and melancholy soul and immediately hits it off with Daniel. They develop a bond and she confesses that she has a strange memory – somebody else’s memory. The three of them solve the puzzle. Yes, Kavanagh’s helping too, and the trail leads to the discovery of a horrifying and brutal crime. Meanwhile Daniel is defending Marriage but Oxford Pride are on the warpath, and determined to destroy anybody who disagrees with them. True, there may not be much to smile about this time but there’s cricket a plenty and the distant sound of wedding bells is in the air…
