Dark Child Awakens is a collection of poetry reflecting the authors coming out later in life after surviving a troubled childhood and decades as a married man. The poems reflect his feelings at that time, his awakening, his struggle of seeking & being in gay relationships and the search for love in the gay world. Many of the poems recall the betrayal, anguish & pain of his childhood.
