Death Knell

Ever since her Stranger power manifested, Rebecca MacDonnell has cared for vampires, werewolves, hellhounds, demons, and the occasional half-spider baby. Learning to use her abilities on top of her senior year in Regular school has been tough, but with the help of vampire boyfriend and mentor Sydney Cardoza, his thrall Ryan, man-wolf (not wolf-man) roommate Billy, exiled hellhound companion Noth, and best human friend Robin, she's been able to balance both lives.

A powerful necromancer is abducting young vampires, and instead of helping with the investigation, their Sovereign orders his people into hiding — including Clan Cardoza. Denied Syd's comforting presence and aid, Rebecca must now find answers — and the missing thralls — on her own.

Well, maybe not entirely on her own. Knowledge is power, and Rebecca is owed more than one favor by those she has helped in the past. She may need to use them all in order to both find and stop the necromancer from ripping an irreparable hole between the Regular and Underworlds.

Preferably before graduation.
