In an era of vastly advanced technology, the entire human population has condensed into one immense City. This unit has enjoyed some two centuries without a confirmed murder… until two mutilated bodies are discovered early one morning in a public square. City Security Forces immediately put Anikka, one of their top veteran operatives, on the case; she quickly uncovers more than anyone ever wanted to find, striving to combat the obscure forces which will send her world—as well as much of her self—into turmoil.
