Dragons Between Us

Najmah, a research student at the University of Empress, wishes nothing more than her intellectual pursuits to produce, well, something of substance. But alas, dragon eggs prove tougher to crack than she first thought.

Elsewhere on the scenic island of Empress, Ameer struggles with developing a new caramel-flavoured latte recipe for his family's cafe. And answers hide from him like lost ancient myths.

But when Najmah seeks caffeine on a bright Empress day, sparks fly between them. And perhaps both their problems can be solved through matters not of the mind, but those closer to the heart.

Dragons Between Us is a cozy Muslim romance short story set in a scenic fantasy kingdom, featuring a baby dragon guaranteed to warm your heart. Have a read today!
