Error of Understanding

Book 1 - first Trilogy - ERA/ERROR of UNDERSTANDING. September, 1999. Paula, while on vacation from her home in Los Angeles, is preparing to celebrate her birthday at a luncheon on the Gold Coast in Australia. Her husband is aboard an aircraft, which is flying into Coolangatta airport on a flight from Melbourne, and he plans to meet her at the rendezvous. However, a traumatic event occurs to alter their carefully-constructed plans. Instead, Paula finds herself in Victorian Victoria, on the banks of the Murray River, where paddle-steamers are plying their trade, while the time-frame is over one-hundred years earlier in Australian history and at the time of the first Royal Tour of the country. There, she encounters Louisa, Sylvia and Elizabeth, along with Charles Lyndhurst. In fascination, Paula watches these familiar scenes and adventures as they play themselves out in 1867, while she drifts between realities.
