Oh my god. Inject this book into my bones. I could NOT put it down
I don’t usually read fantasy or romantasy but this book may make me change my mind
First of all I will say that you have to bear with the start of the book. I definitely found the first 30% a bit boring but omg it’s so worth it that it doesn’t dock a star.
XADEN RIORSON may be one of my favourite characters to read about. Like omg the way he is so tough but then soft around violet…like AH
I love violet too, I like that the writer approached the “I’m weaker than the others” thing without violent feeling all sorry for herself, she stands up for herself.. because there are definitely other books that approach it with a “oh no poor me” kind of thing, which makes me cringe sometimes lol no but the author did this perfectly
The character development of violet and xaden is insaneee so good

I love tairn and andarna x tairn is like a grumpy grandad I love it. andarna is my angel. I can’t wait to read about how she grows up and if she’ll give violet a signet or what will happen there Also, at the end they say her magic is completely gone from the poison..so I’d love to know what happens there

I SOBBED when Liam died :( loved Liam, he didn’t deserve that.
Also the whole plot twist that the “enemies” aren’t actually the enemies.. was not expecting that
I won’t lie, I could see the Brennan thing coming once xaden said he knew somewhere closer than basgiath, but I’m not mad about it because I cannot wait to read on
I have a bad feeling that Rhiannon is going to die in the next book.. please don’t kill her ms.yarros I’m begging you
Genuinely loved this book, so worth the hype..do give it at least 200 pages tho, the mid to end part of the book is so worth it! Can’t wait to read the rest of the triology

Such a good fantasy fic, cool story lines, good action and not too heavy. Loved the characters and the romance is good, spice isn’t too bad either!
Have already pre ordered the next book bc I cannot wait!
If you loved ACOTAR, you’ll love this too. Not the sa,e but equally as good.
Recommended read
Good book, If you like fantasy you’ll recognise some tropes or phrases but they’re used in non repetitive ways so they work for the book. I want to read the next one which is a good sign. I’d recommend it.
