Grey Granite

'Grey Granite' moves the focus of the previous novels from the country into the town, which adds an additional dimension to Gibbon's uniquely crafted prose.

It is a tale of Communism, Socialism, factories, violence and town life. Though Grey Granite keeps Gibbon's sense of humour intact, it is also a much darker and less spry novel than what came before.
