Sherlock Holmes is frustrated. His mind is as sharp as ever, but his body, well… old age.

His doctors have recommended that he retire to Mars, where the lower gravity will be easier on him, and he'll be away from the bustle of London. But for a man like Holmes there is no let up in the demand for his services.

In a strange new world, with Dr Watson and Mrs Hudson long since having departed this life, Holmes must make new friends. What he needs is a bright young lad who can be his eyes and ears, and go where he cannot.
