How to Go About Learning Chinese

This guide aims to increase the reader's efficiency in learning Mandarin, it is not a complete guide of every part of the language.

Based on personal experience, it focuses on certain aspects of learning Chinese that are easily neglected by the learner, textbooks and teachers, offering a way how to approach the language through analysis of key areas.

The guide addresses the parts of learning Chinese that I feel need more emphasis, parts that were lacking during my own study. Hindsight tells me that this knowledge would have been enormously beneficial to me had I known it from the beginning.

It should be used alongside the mainstream learning of Mandarin.
