Jim O’Bryon is a national defense and security consultant. Until November 2001, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and was in the Pentagon when terrorists attacked on 9/11. He’s testified before Congress and serves the National Academy of Sciences as Committee Chairman. He has worked at IBM, New York Life, and Ballistic Research Laboratories and authored numerous technical reports and open literature publications. Born in Schenectady, NY, Jim graduated from Emmaus Bible Institute and received his Math degree from The King’s College in NY. Drafted by the Army during the early Viet Nam buildup, he served 2 years in uniform and has earned graduate degrees from George Washington University & MIT. Jim’s a songwriter, concert and recording artist with several albums/CDs, a conference speaker and was a radio announcer for 15 years including WRBS in Baltimore. His honors include Who’s Who in America and numerous Pentagon awards. He’s a guest lecturer at several graduate schools across the nation. Jim and his wife Adina live in Bel Air, MD and have 4 married children.
