I call this an odd and quirky memoir with a surprising, uplifting message of hope.

In this book you’ll find all my dirty little secrets: the embarrassment, the shame, the absurd, the downright stupid. You will also find sprinkled some deep, dark moments that will still somehow make you smile, possibly laugh, maybe even snort a time or two, if you’re prone to that sort of thing. I basically bare my soul for your voyeuristic pleasure.

What?! You’re still not sure you want to buy this book? Man, you are a tough sell. OK, well, a) you will probably feel better about yourself because I’m pretty sure by comparison your life has been a little more together than mine. Hmmm, b) I mention the word “sex,” and c) there’s a cat chapter?
