Phyenix King thought that going to a school for mages and paladins in a different realm would be a dream come true. She got a lot more than she bargained for. Not only is there a lot of magic to learn, but something strange is happening in the streets of Evermuur.

Students at her school are mysteriously loosing their magic. When Nix catches on and decides to investigate, she uncovers something sinister is brewing in Nightvale. Something that may shake the whole realm and everyone in it.
