Keep It Off the Ice

Inez airbrushes hockey helmets for a living, and her landlord's pale yellow envelope says the rent is overdue. Elias has spent nine seasons as a goalie in Hartford, and one noon phone call later he is on a flight to Portland with two hockey bags and a box of paperback westerns. A new city, a team that is watching and a few careful rules about alley doors turn a simple working relationship into a secret that gets harder to keep with every game. KEEP IT OFF THE ICE is a warm, funny, slow-burning hockey romance about two people who are very good at their work and terrible at asking for what they want. Closed-door and full of heart, it is perfect for readers of sports romance, secret relationships and small-business heroines.
