CARNLOU ,

Macabre

My first read of 2021.
Overall, I thought this was OK.
The overly descriptive writing irritated me at times.
I admire how Golding portrays young boys as they are: un-angelic and unruly.
The ending is utterly macabre and totally tragic.
Recommended.
