Roberta Loder is the District Attorney and her husband, Barry, is the Chief of Police. Their lives are coming unraveled because of the friction between the politics of their jobs. When Barry pursues the mastermind of the largest drug dealing operation in town, he is shot and Roberta is left to try to solve the case while Barry fights for his life. Together they rediscover the reasons they were drawn together and what the important things are in their lives.
