Murugan Thaipusam (EN‪)‬

A photographic testimony of a traditional hindu festival in honor of Murugan the warrior god. My photography is a true insight into the traditions of India. This books includes many original photos as well as videos so as to be bale to live the experience as if you were there. I work very closely with the people I photograph so as to be allowed close so that my work can give an authentic view of indian rituals and traditions. My photos are never stolen and the people give me their authorization to publish, I share my work with them by giving them many prints and making donations to the temple they belong to. I donate my photos to a non profit organisation who manages the books and the donations so that I can continue my work. This is the first of a series of photography books. My photos are mainly taken in india where I spend most of the year.
