Mystic Light

Life sure changed, a whole year passed and I didn't even realize it. The choice I made had it's consequences but I wouldn't change it for anything. There was still something out there waiting for the right time to strike. Just when I thought things couldn't get any more complicated a new life began. Starting a life with the man I loved seemed like a natural thing to do, we didn't expect one small oops would change our lives. With this new life came scary and unsettling realizations for me and those I loved. Fear of the unknown threatened to destroy everything I held dear to my heart including the child growing inside of me. All I knew was I’d protect it with everything I had, no matter the consequences. This new life I was living was worth fighting for, to save my family I would sacrifice everything including myself. I understood now why my mother went to such lengths to do the same for me, love is a very powerful thing. I can only hope one day my child will come to understand why I made the choices I did.
