With the memories of the events from Lagos breathing down his neck, Noel is on edge. He can't seem to forget about the past, but he can't shake it off either, not with the Pack Division Agent continuing to beat down his door looking for the answers to questions Noel's not ready to discuss. For the protection of his family, Noel needs to get out of Collins, and fast. But an unlikely pair of allies becomes all that stands between him and the threat that's followed him.

As Keegan and Ellie learn to deal with Noel's absence, things take another turn toward the strange when Daniel reveals that he's found out about a "family" secret. That little mystery sends the three of them in search of answers, helping to take their mind off their missing sibling.
