Nas Squantum

This is the story of NAS Squantum, a nearly-forgotten naval air station that was located in Quincy, Massachusetts from 1917 to 1953 on the site of modern Marina Bay. NAS Squantum was the first naval air reserve air base and in most respects is the place where the naval air reserve training program really began. This book tells the complete story of NAS Squantum in 399 pages of informative text and 508 illustrations (including nearly every kind of aircraft assigned to the base).
