Publisher Description

From the Back Cover:
“embodied(-y): v. be an expression of or give tangible or
visible form to an idea,
quality or feeling.
a concoction of nameless,
rouletted impulses.

Growing up I knew something nameless swelled and raged underneath my opaque surface. An inherited, and simultaneously inherent, perfect storm of ancient clichés. Unvoiced: yet, because of their evidence in my behavioral clues, were suppressed nonetheless by the insiders who had rejected them. And never having had the words to describe any of this; I withdrew. Silenced from myself, only to meet me in the darkest of spaces. Until, someone saw. And shone the light of justified belonging unto this dormant corpse. Before, self worth and capability of persevering came only when I would write. Mustering my few faculties to scour for every related and applicable adjective and synonym, until I had relieved myself of my own entrapment. I took shape on and settled in to the page before me. I still do. This is me. Is it worth anything? Read and see—proving me to me.”

I’ve released this last addition to my saga of poetic memoirs not as a memoir, but as a book of rebirth. It is for this reason that I have released them in turn: Vol. I in the springtime to symbolize my budding relationship with the world as I knew it, Vol. II in Autumn as a nod to the eternal slumber my old state of mind has reclined to and the hibernation of my burgeoning ingenuity, and Vol. III in the summertime to commemorate the feeling of long awaited ray-baths and the freedom of the sun and how this so embodies the spirit of shedding one’s inhibitions so as to come into their own meticulously cultivated style.

This collection of cherished works throughout the most edifying time of my life, at the time of their conception, serve as a corner stone to the escalation of the very experiences they sought to beget—to be published in future volumes. References and resonations may be found to the words of Oscar Wilde, Stephanie LaCava, Ernest Hemingway, Jim Morrison, Euripides, Giambattista Della Porta, Tom Waits, and Helena Blavatsky, among others.
