Paradise Mislaid

"If heavenly choirs sang at the death of Arion Purbury, they did so very quietly. Arion was not surprised, for he had not expected them. In fact, he had not expected anything except supper that night, and this was denied him." So begin the adventures of Arion Purbury, by whom Paradise seems to have been mislaid. In his search for it, or some explanation for his continued, if invisible existence, he meets many strange characters, learns a great deal about Spiritualism and Psychic Research, and even grows a little. Meantime, there is room for the reader to laugh a little. All is not grave!
