This story represents a case of what can, and possibly has, happened to a government when the political leaders have more interest in their personal gain rather than the good of the citizens of the country. Personal gain not only relates to money or other assets but can also relate to power or some concept of government that does not conform to the constitution and bill of rights.

The politicians continually harp on the word democracy. No where in our Constitution or Bill of Rights does the word democracy appear. The founders of this country formed a REPUBLIC!!
