Prometheus Gambit

Determined to live his “new” life, one of peace and tranquility, Jake Dalton willingly slipped quietly into the background and no longer had or wanted the ears of the high and mighty in the corridors of political power of the United States. Instead, he vowed to let the world resolve the issues it faced without his help.

When intelligence agencies reported that something that seemed completely impossible only a few short years before was now on the brink of occurring, Bradford Greeley, the President of the United States asked for Jake’s help to prevent the attack. Despite Jake’s strong objections, the President simply would not take “No” for an answer.

Jake agrees to do what he can to keep his country from suffering the most devastating attack in its history. In the process of trying to prevent a catastrophe from happening, Jake must decide just how far he’s willing to go in order to save his country from a disastrous and deadly attack.
