The world seems to be teetering on the precipice of collapse. A highly contagious disease is spreading in Asia and the racial tension in the United States has led to numerous skirmishes. Throughout history, men and women have been chosen to bring humanity back from the brink. These people have been referred to as heroes, warrior saints, and Athleta Christi. The Chosen include a father and husband, a cage fighter, an illegal alien with ties to a drug cartel, a British hacker, an African doctor, Chinese twins on the run from gangsters, and a young college dropout. They have to come together if there is any hope of defeating the evil they face.
