Merideth Black, currently known as Sophia Wright, a vampire living hidden amongst the humans of New York City. She owns a simple little night club that caters to the alternative lifestyle of society, allowing her a perfect camouflage while she tries to live her day to day life; alone. It's the price she has to pay if she hopes to survive. Longing for companionship she meets Matthew Luna, a young human with a run of bad luck both in his love life and his employment status. He walks in to Sophia's life and in to a world of chaos that he wasn't readily prepared for. It isn't long before her secret is forced in to the light and she is pushed to make a choice that will change both their lives from there on out.
