Publisher Description

In "QR: An Experiment In Poetry," Author Michael Camarata has converted seven of his poems, four of which have never been previously published, into QR code. Only by scanning the code will a poem be revealed to you. Free QR code scanning apps for smart phones with cameras and web cams are widely available online.

What is QR Code?

QR code was originally created as a replacement scanning system for barcodes, capable of holding larger volumes of information and utilizing a camera instead of a laser for scanning. Online it has become a popular replacement for a user's avatar, providing a scan link to that user's blog or other website. Offline it has been used for posting semi-private notes on bulletin boards to others who have a scanning app on their camera phones, or for treasure hunts where the hunters must scan the code to read their next clue.
