Rest Beyond the River

A traffic accident killed Micah's wife and child leaving him lost in grief and despair. He cannot bear to remain in California and sets out to reach a small farm in North Carolina. The peaceful mountain cove might offer healing, and if not, at least help him endure until his own end.

However, people and nature conspire to stop him. He couldn't refuse to bury the old man, or provide help to others in a blinding sandstorm. Yet, when he is back on schedule, a massive earthquake hits the great Mississippi River Basin. The devastation puts Micah's physical and emotional goals in grave danger.
