This book is all messed up. There’s smoke coming from the house but he lights the fire after? Emma comments on her falling in the mud in a scene where she isn’t there? They’re kissing and the next morning they hadn’t kissed? Worst editing I’ve seen in a book in a long time and it’s a shame because I was enjoying the story but the inconsistencies meant I could no longer keep reading.
