Publisher Description

Most of these skits in this collection have been around for many years. I know I participated in quite a few of them during my career as a Boy Scout in northern Maine in the 1970's. Now as a Scoutmaster in northern Michigan, I am not too surprised to see these same skits being performed some thirty years later to entertain young and old alike. The skits are organized alphabetically for easy reference and are written in a manner for easier performance. Somewhere many years ago, in an obscure corner of the world, in some Scouting organization big or small, in the mind of a creative young lad or leader, these skits were born and took shape to be performed in front of a willing and sympathetic crowd of people who enjoy camping, fellowship, and fun. As long as there are young Scouts full of showmanship, leaders who donate their time and talents, and the support of family and friends, these skits will continue to be a part of the Scouting tradition.
