Twenty year old Issac Riley has grown up within a secret magical society, but the last thing he ever would have expected was for a girl from his non-magical college to be struck by lightning in front of him... and for her to turn out to be magic too, and for her to turn his whole life upside down, being tied to centuries old history in his family, and pushing him to reevaluate everything he's ever known.

Anna Kahale didn't know a thing about any magical society until she was struck by lightning. She was a perfectly ordinary nineteen year old girl, in Seattle for college. So strange occurrences following her everywhere after she was struck extremely frustrating, and having to rely on a near stranger in Issac is not her favorite thing in the world... even if he is nice. But he's infuriatingly mysterious, and she'd really rather her life go back to normal.
