Widow Jane Stanford has no family other than her mother-in-law Laura. When Laura goes to her childhood home to die, Jane follows to take care of her.

Jane meets Bo Anderson, who has no idea the land he’s farmed all his life belongs to Laura. In spite of the complications, Bo reaches out in kindness to make his new neighbors feel welcome.
