After decades of being married, author Richard Wiener, now in his 60s, found himself on the journey to find that elusive perfect woman and last date. Wiener figured that if he’d had these bad date experiences, then other people must’ve had them, too. Thus, the idea for this two-book series was born. Take My Date, Please!, the sequel to Check Please ... and Hurry!, chronicles these dating disasters.

This man vs. woman tell-all details several peoples’ disastrous dates and explores the rude and the ugly, as well as the rare prince or princess charming in the single world. The 300+ people interviewed for this book prove that no matter what age you are, whether you are white, black, Asian, European or an alien from another planet, bad dates happen to just about everyone.
