The assassin wasn’t born that way; he created himself in early adulthood. His first paid professional hit was for the father of a boy who had been murdered by a pedophile. The deviate was out of prison and looking for new prey. After that success, Clay spent a month with an ex-special forces/CIA agent who taught him the basics of his chosen profession.
Clay’s long-term problem was concealing his new calling from friends and family. He opened an antiques shop so he could mix out of state buying trips with his more lucrative profession.
He began secretly seeing the daughter of his friend who was a Chicago mob boss. If he really loved the beautiful Adrianna, wouldn’t he have been proud to claim her.
Along the way he had to intervene in his sister, Lizzy’s, relationship with a sexual predator. She and Clay were close, so when she announced she was gay guess who she chose to break the news to first.
