This is a simple and concise book. It is about how a simple story can be started in lots of different ways. In this story the main character wants to write a story but his problem is he keeps getting distracted by all the things around him. He has a goal and he wants to achieve it. The character is motivated and keeps on trying until he is able to succeed. His growth mindset and can-do attitude mean that even though he has challenges to overcome he will not give up. Encourage your child to tell you as many sentence starters as they can and make it a fun and challenging game. Ask your child how would they start a story and what could happen in the story.
